“ Wow. Where do I even begin?! First off, I would like to state I RARELY leave reviews, but this one is much warranted. First off, the inside is beautiful and well set up with great taste and design behind it. I believe they had a very nice playscape on property too (we were kid free tonight so didn’t explore that far). Second off, the menu was very diverse, and AMAZING. We were unable to decide what to pick from the menu, so the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable and helped us pick a 10 star meal. We had an appetizer and two meals and we completely cleaned the plates. The drinks were also top notch!! Third off, the staff was beyond amazing. From our waitress being incredibly kind and tentative, the bartender coming to us personally to ensure our drinks were good, and even the owner chatting with us before we left. I have never had an experience this wonderful before, and will probably consider revisiting the town again just for the restaurant alone!! ”

“ This place just opened after the 4th of July. There should have been fireworks in this place!!! Being of the culture there Mexican food is ethnic and delicious, The bartender there just started working there he makes the Best Margarita!!! This area needed a place like this wait till their outside opens. They need staff! But they're doing a great job See them! ”

“ Nice environment, great decoration and good food. I gave 4 stars because we expected the waitresses to speak Spanish (at least a bit) and it very much didn't happen. Just a recommendation: please hire bilingual staff! ”

“ Newish Mexican food spot that is not necessarily traditional Tex Mex. Everything I had was great though. The queso was a little smoky which was unexpected but good. The salsa is spicy and the drinks were excellent! Definitely worth coming back to. ”

“ This place was wonderful! The food was delicious and fresh. The margarita was perfection. This is not Tex Mex, this is Mexican food and it’s so good. We ordered chips/queso and fajitas. The shrimp and veggies with the fajitas were so tasty. Great atmosphere, a lovely spot for our first evening dinner during our stay. I looked up the reviews prior to visiting here for our anniversary trip in Wimberley. You must stop in a give it a try! One thing I will note is that you don’t receive chips and salsa complimentary like you do at pretty much any Mexican restaurant you go to, but it didn’t bother me. I like chips and queso anyways. ”

“ I was coming back to Wimberley and I spotted the El Jardin. I knew some one was making changes on the place but I didn't know it was open. So, I turned around and pulled in. The drive is a little tight so make sure there isn't someone right behind you when you're pulling in. I arrived right after the lunch run so parking was easy and I noticed a children's play area on the right. That's a nice touch. The inside is really nice and colorful. I always like to sit at the bar when I'm by myself but they only have a bar area and it's inside and there's an outside area to it as well. The service was great, I don't drink so I can't say how the drinks are but I'm sure they are great. I had the fajitas and it came with black beans and rice. I'm not a big fan of black beans but the rice was fluffy and had a good flavor. The place is a little pricy. ”
